Update (June 14, 2010): We have a new, cool interactive map from Google My Maps that we have put in. Now you can see the whole picture, pan, zoom and see where we stayed on what nights.
We have created the map below so that our general route and progress can be followed during our journey. This is far from high tech and certainly did not require any useful website writing skills thanks to the people at Google and a wonderful WordPress Plugin. We will be adding our route to the map as we go and adding some text below each map to more clearly define where we have been.
Note (December 20, 2009): We have decided to change the path color to indicate how we traveled. Blue lines indicate air travel, green lines indicate land travel and orange lines indicate sea travel. If any other means (what else is there…?) find us along our way, we will be sure to add them to color scheme.

We flew back to Athens and toured Eastern Europe from there.

That is the end of our RTW 2009-2010 itinerary. We have had so much fun and had awesome chances to meet great people all over the world.
At the end of our travels, we decided to settle for some time in Bangkok, Thailand. We were there for a school year, arriving on July 13, 2010 and finally leaving June 2, 2011. We had a great year and now we are back in the states, settled in New Jersey. We will keep updating maps (and the blog!) as our lives change.
